What is the
100 Heads SOCIETY?

From humble beginnings in Lauren's basement, friends came to pose as models in a casual practice setting. The society received a grant to move into a studio space and is open to the public.

Artists are able to make art from a live, volunteer model every Monday from 6-9pm at Parkdale studios. The cost is $10 in advance or at the door if tickets don't sell out, but we do not want money to prohibit any artist from coming. Please talk to an organizer if you have considerations!

*Online participants are limited to 1 portrait a week & must purchase a certification for each portrait on our shop to be considered for the ring.

Announcing our next visiting artist and workshop with illustrator @jasjyotjasjyot

Jasjyot Singh Hans is an illustrator unendingly inspired by an explosive neon mix of fashion, music, and pop culture.

Jasjyot will be joining us on Sunday, July 19th from 2-5pm to instruct a special figure drawing workshop!

Explore bold, stylized mark making with this accomplished artist. Jasjyot will take you through his process with a live model and help you explore your own mark making style all while giving one-on-one feedback.

Tickets are $60 and are available now on our website!

The 6th bi-annual 100 Heads Society portrait show is this Saturday! But today is Monday and that means Portrait Night! The last one before the show! If you're an artist who has attended a portrait night since our last show in November we want your work to be in the show this weekend! Bring it to portrait night tonight or DM us to set up a time to drop it off! We'll see you tonight!

You are formally invited to the sixth bi-annual 100 Heads Society Portrait Show. The show will take place on May 9th from 4-7pm at our studio (2175 druid park drive). Come see the culmination of over 6 months of work by our artists painting models from the community and witness the initiation ceremony of our founder @lauren.carloart into the ranks of the Centurions. There will be snacks and good times.

This Monday our esteemed founder and master painter @lauren.carloart will be painting her 100th portrait. Come paint alongside her and celebrate this momentous accomplishment with us from 6-9pm. Tickets available through the link in our bio.

If you've been wondering where our new studio is check this out! It's right behind our old studio! The address is 2175 druid Park drive, but beware many map apps get the directions wrong. Go via the route on this post! Park in the lot across from the studio and ignore the reserved parking signs!

You pass the blue doors on your left, continue down the alley into the new parking lot.

You can also drive around the other way taking parkdale Ave to Druid Park Drive and turning down the small road there.

The time has finally come! We are in the new studio space! Our new studio is located right behind the Parkdale building. We have been using for almost three years.

Join us Monday March 2 for the first portrait night in the new space.

We will put out a new graphic showing everyone exactly how to get there and we will make sure it’s easy to find us with some balloons for our first portrait night in our new studio! Don’t miss it!
