In addition to hosting regular Monday night Portrait Night's and classes, the 100 Heads Society regularly invites talented artists to come to our studio and run workshops or live demos, sharing their expertise with our Baltimore community. Fearless Figure Drawing Workshop
Artists explored bold stylized mark-making with this accomplished artist. Jasjyot led our guests through his process with a live model and helped them explore their mark-making style while giving one-on-one feedback.

Lucy He
All About Gouache
In May of 2026 we hosted a special one-day workshop from local legend Lucy He! Lucy covered everything artists needed to know to make stunning gouache paintings from materials to process.
Lucy demoed and then gave 1 on 1 guidance as students through a still life painting of their choosing.

Vivian Tanga
From Chaos to Control: Slow Painting
Vivian Tanga, based in San Miguel de Allende, joined us for a special two-week workshop as well as an artist process reveal!
Artists learned about Vivian's surprisingly saturated and free spirited process for rendering stunning, Ingres-like portraits.

Alla Prima Portrait Demo
Vegas based painter, Kai Lun Qu graced the 100 Heads studio with a deeply inspiring and energetic portrait demo.
Kai talked about his prolific career and experiences as an artist while working from a live model.

London based Ruth Fitton visited the 100 Heads studio to do a live demo.
Ruth walked us through her materials, process, inspiration and how she trained as an artist.

Still Live Workshop and Demo
Seattle-based Trekell pro artist Nick Eisele joined us for a live demo and Workshop.
This workshop was sponsored by Trekell as well as a collaboration with the Prop Up Shop in Baltimore.
