Portrait painting every Monday night in Baltimore, MD. All artists are welcome at any skill level.

What is the
100 Heads SOCIETY?

From humble beginnings in Lauren's basement, friends came to pose as models in a casual practice setting. The society received a grant to move into a studio space and is open to the public.

Artists are able to make art from a live, volunteer model every Monday from 6-9pm at Parkdale studios. The cost is $5 in advance or at the door but we do not want money to prohibit any artist from coming. Please talk to an organizer if you have considerations!

The 100 Heads Society will be in the Mayor's Christmas Parade again this year! The parade is on Sunday, Dec 14th! Want to join us? RSVP on our website! We'll have a brunch tailgate beforehand and a small after party for participants!

Portrait night for tonight, Nov. 10th is sold out! If you haven't purchased a ticket for today we unfortunately won't be accepting any walk-ins. If you missed out make sure to grab your ticket for next week if you can make it!

We feel bolstered by the continual support of the community and all the artists who have stepped through our doors since our last show! We can't wait to continue growing and providing a space for artists in Baltimore to build community and practice their skills!

A message to all artists who have painted or drawn with us since our last show! Bring us your work at portrait night on Monday, Nov. 3rd so we can feature all the amazing artists who have stopped by and practiced with us!

Attention all portrait night attendees! You have continued to surprise us with your dedication to the art of the portrait and as such have been consistently showing up to our weekly portrait nights!
However, as you know our space is limited and we want to make sure everyone has enough room in our studio.
So starting on Oct. 27th we will be requiring advanced tickets to attend Monday Portrait Night. We will be limiting the number of attendees for Portrait Night to 20 artists. If we do not sell out ahead of time walk-ins will be admitted up to our cap of 20 artists. Tickets are available to purchase through our website now, which you can find through the link in our bio.

Just a heads up this week we will be starting our $5 fee for portrait nights, which will help us keep our group sustainable and continue to provide opportunities for our group to learn from some of the best artists in the world! One thing that's not changing, though, is that we'll always have tots at the end 🥔❤️

Dear 100 Heads Society friends, artists, and models,

After much thoughtful consideration, we’ve decided to begin charging $5 for Monday night sessions.

For as long as possible, we’ve worked hard to keep these nights free—funding them through classes, parties, workshops, and special events. But as our community has grown, so have our needs, and the current model just isn’t financially sustainable.

Our goal has always been to create a lasting space for artists in Baltimore. We want 100 Heads to not only cover rent each month, but also to thrive—bringing in visiting artists, offering better resources, and making sure no single organizer is ever left carrying the financial burden alone. For this club to have a long future, it needs to support itself.

We hope you’ll understand this shift and continue to support what has become such a meaningful part of Baltimore’s creative community.

If $5 presents a hardship for anyone, please don’t hesitate to reach out to an organizer in person or by email—we’re happy to work something out. Everyone is welcome here.

Thank you for being part of what makes this group so special. We’re excited for this new chapter of 100 Heads and the future we’re building together—for Baltimore, and for the portrait scene across the country.
